Major League Pickleball and the Professional Pickleball Association, merged to launch the league with 24 teams instead of its previous 12 teams. Nick Kyrgios and Naomi Osaka intend to invest in pickleball to support it and launch the Miami Pickleball Club. Miami will serve as the team’s home base, and the league starts in 2023.
