As the anticipation for the Wimbledon heats up, several players have lined up for pre-tournament interviews. Katie Boulter, WTA number 77, is another player on tour appearing for the grass major. As Boulter aims to bring about new life to her career, she answers a few rapid-fire questions. A common occurrence, but her pick of the Swiss Maestro for one category is bound to get a debate rolling.

While Katie Boulter has not won many titles in her career, she has been in great form this year. She won her first WTA title this year, which evoked a big reaction from her boyfriend, Alex De Minaur.

Coming off of a triumph in her WTA tour, Boulter is now aiming to bring glory to her career by going far in the Wimbledon. As she prepares for the grass slam, she gave an interview for the Instagram page of the Wimbledon.

In one segment, she was asked to give answers to rapid-fire questions. The first question was about her pick for the G.O.A.T. of tennis. Without missing a beat, Boulter picked the 20-time grand slam champion, Roger Federer.

Other questions asked in the rapid-fire round included who she thought had the best muscles and who was a good style icon. For both of those questions, the English player took the name of her beau, Alex De Minaur. For her best friend, she said, Freya Christie. Additionally, when asked what’s the next big thing, she chose herself.

How far will Katie Boulter go at Wimbledon?

Katie Boulter has overtaken Emma Raducanu as the new British number 1. Since Raducanu is out of commission for at least two more months, the 26-year-old overtook her. Boulter winning the Nottingham Open was certainly a big help for her new rank. While she has not performed well in grand slams so far, English tennis fans are counting on her to keep the trophy for the ladies’ singles in the country.
