Given that he has won two majors already and if he goes on to win two more with an Olympic gold next year, it will mark his first Golden Grand Slam. Ivanisevic stated, “I don’t have a magic ball, but he’s healthy, he’s ready, he’s playing incredible tennis and he’s motivated for every Grand Slam.”?Even if Djokovic is motivated, the crowd has always chosen his opponent over him.
Is it over the fact that he is on his streak to equalize the record of eight Wimbledon titles with Roger Federer? Or is it because he has already surpassed every ATP player’s record for the highest number of Grand Slam titles? No one knows and Djokovic too has made his peace with it.
