Tennis star couple Denis Shapovalov and Mirjam Bjorklund are a match made in heaven. The 24-year-old Canadian tennis player may have had a below-par year on the tennis court, but it was completely different on the personal front. Earlier this year, he got engaged to the love of his life, Mirjam Bjorklund. And now, as the 2023 tennis season comes to an end, both players have taken a little break from their professional schedules to blow off some heat in the Maldives.

Since they started dating in 2019, the Swedish WTA star and Shapovalov have enjoyed considerable success in the world of tennis. Now, as they are vacationing together after a tiring season, the Canadian tennis player shared a little glimpse of their trip.

Denis Shapovalov and Mirjam Bjorklund’s dreamy Maldives vacation 

Earlier this year, Denis Shapovalov found the most romantic way to propose to his girlfriend, as they got engaged at the COMO Maalifushi resort, in the Maldives. However, on the court, this year has not been that great for the 24-year-old Canadian tennis player. He has struggled to claim a title and ended the year at 103 in the ATP rankings. But before gearing up for the next season, he took some time off to relax as he went on a little Maldives vacation with his fiancée, the WTA star, Mirjam Bjorklund.

Shapovalov took to his Instagram account to share a video that had various little clips of the couple enjoying dinners by the beach or their time in the water. He wrote, “Making the best memories with you.”

Along with that, he also tagged the 25-year-old Swedish tennis player, sharing his love for his fiancée. In the video, not only did they capture their happy moment, but there were also some beautiful scenes that they witnessed during their trip. But the former world No.10 didn’t stop there, as he also took to his Instagram story to share some more lovely moments with his fiancée.

He started by sharing a selfie with Bjorklund. As the couple looked gorgeous together, he wrote, “More Maldives memories.” Subsequently, he also shared some pictures of himself that were apparently clicked by the sweetest tennis player.

In addition, he shared one more selfie and wrote, “Love making these memories with you,” followed by some red heart emojis. It was the same place where the couple got engaged in July that had breathtaking views, a turquoise ocean, and white sand beaches, perfectly fit for a dream vacation.
