A few hours back, Mouratoglou took to his Twitter account to talk about his earlier tweet. He had previously tweeted about this current age of sports being the greatest as there are many GOATs. In his words, this is indeed the “decade of the GOATs”. However, soon after the tweet, tennis fans took a dig at him for talking about this decade in a way that there have never been any GOATs before.

This was not greatly accepted by tennis fans stirring yet another controversy. While some have claimed that the GOAT in women’s tennis must be Margaret Court or Steffi Graf, others have trolled Mouratoglou for ignoring Djokovic as the GOAT for men’s tennis, especially after his 22nd Grand Slam at this year’s Australian Open.
