During his post-match conference, Stan got really emotional as he embraced the lost match at the finals of a huge tournament.

However, he also mentioned that he would probably be playing next year and also thanked everyone who supported him throughout. The teary-eyed interview of Stan caught the attention of all his fans and also Serena Williams’ ex-coach Rennae Stubbs who did not shy away to applaud him further.

Owing to the same, Serena Williams’ ex-coach noticed the teary-eyed tennis player and immediately came forward to console him. In one of her tweets on her official account, she wrote, “What a week! And massive props to @stanwawrinka who keeps letting us all know; he’s not going anywhere! What a legend.”

She not only applauded him for being the legend that he is but also showed appreciation for the fact that he was hopeful of coming back again next year and is not going anywhere so soon.
