Tennis is a sport that demands complete physical fitness from the players, and Rafael Nadal is the perfect example of an athlete meeting almost every requirement. So, when Serena Williams and John McEnroe got the chance to ask the Spaniard to show his abs, they took it.

The American players were acting as the host during one of Rafa’s interview. Williams was excited to be around her favorite player, as she started off the interview with, “So, Rafa, I think you have a great body.”

The audience could not contain their excitement and cheered at the opening. McEnroe then said, “That was a very good start. That’s a 10 right there.” Williams then giddily continued and asked, “Can we see your abs?” To this, the audience cheered and McEnroe elaborated, “I guess what she’s asking is would you mind playing with your shirt off?”

Though unfortunately, they could not convince Rafa to show his abs, even with the support of the audience. McEnroe had to retreat by saying with a laugh, “This is PG.”
