The French Open was a fascinating competition, but American tennis legend Jimmy Connors talked about the WTA players’ dream team final. While underlining Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic’s examples.

Jimmy Connors shared a Grand Slam final reality 

The WTA’s number-one-ranked tennis player won her fourth Grand Slam title at the French Open against Aryna Sabalenka. But the 70-year-old tennis legend wished to see the tournament’s dream final, in which the Australian Open champion would face Iga Swiatek.

Further, he added, “You can call it luck you can call it. Whatever but you go back and Federer didn’t make it to the finals a lot of times against Nadal or against Djokovic. Nadal didn’t make it against either one of them so right you know that happens”

The 37-year-old has a 6-3 statistical advantage over the Swiss maestro in their nine meetings in the title match. The Spaniard has won three of the four meetings between Nadal and Djokovic, who have faced each other four times, all in finals. Even though they have played many matches against one another over the course of their lengthy tennis careers, they have only occasionally faced off in grand slam finals.

In addition, Connors talked about how the Big Three even after being so successful, rarely faced each other in the finals. But their fans would enjoy watching them in the crucial matches of various tournaments. However, if Nadal would have participated in the French Open this year. The tournament finals may have been between both of the big three members. However, a lot of things have been in disarray as a result of the Spaniard’s injury at the Australian Open.
