And, lately, Venus and Serena Williams‘ childhood coach, Rick Macci, who helped them during their tennis careers, has shed some light on how the elder Williams’ sister played a significant influence in the younger Williams’ success.
Well, even after being one of the well-known trainers who has worked with tennis pros like Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova. He gave credit to the seven-time Grand Slam champion for aiding her sister in perfecting the best first serve he had ever seen or taught in the tennis world.

The iconic William sister duo, starting from the early tennis age, have always been companions who have practiced tennis together. And no doubt they have worked on their flaws and greatness together while trying to be the best at what they do. Nevertheless, recently their childhood coach, Macci opened up about how instead of others, the 42-year-old tennis star was the one who helped the younger Williams create the best first serve ever witnessed on the tennis court.
The 68-year-old American coach recently took to his Twitter account to share this insight. He wrote, “@Serenawilliams as a kid hit the second most practice serves of any student I every taught! What was unreal she also hit the second most practice serves in her family but this helped her develop the best first serve the game has seen. THANKS VW.”

When Serena Williams soaked in gratitude for her elder sister
Last year, when the former world number one tennis star played her farewell match at the US Open. She expressed her gratitude to her parents, fans, and all those who have supported her during her tennis career. But she paid a particular tribute to the seven-time Grand Slam champion.
With tears in her eyes, Serena remarked that without Venus, there would be no Serena today. Furthermore, she added that she was the only reason Serena Williams existed. And, exactly 9 months after sobbing in thanks, the 42-year-old tennis champion finds perfect support in her younger sister as she makes her tennis comeback.
