Now, the American ATP star recently shared the interview clip on his official Instagram profile story and wrote- “guess I’m not good enough to play mixed with u huh@cocogauff.” This didn’t end there as Gauff reshared Shelton’s message with a caption. In her caption, the former US Open champion wrote– “no tbh I’m just scared if you hit a 150mph serve in the back of my head. but we’ll play one day.”

Now Coco Gauff’s response to Ben Shelton again ignited fans’ excitement about these tennis pros having something more between them than just friendship. Recently, Shelton was spotted FaceTiming the former US Open Champion from Tiafoe and Tsitsipas’s match at the Eisenhower Cup. While the duo didn’t spill any beans about it, their fans loved the adorable interaction between the duo.

In that clip, Gauff said- “I mean, for fun, I would just say Ben Shelton, but he’s not a dream. That could easily happen. He’s already asked me, but, well, I got to focus on singles. It’ll happen one day, just not soon. Probably Rafa, then.” Gauff’s smile throughout her response expressed her fun-spirited attitude towards colleague Ben Shelton.

Nonetheless, in her latest response, fans found a more calmer side of the former US Open champion. Even if she is not dating Ben Shelton, Gauff is having a great bond with the American tennis star.
