In the recent episode of Served with Andy Roddick, the American tennis legend himself came forward to applaud the 21-year-old tennis player’s amazing contribution to the tournament. He said, “You know, who else did a great job at BJK Cup, who I think it could have relevancy for the rest of her season is Emma Raducanu.”

While talking about how it’s not easy to play for one’s country, the British tennis player did a good job. And despite so much pressure on and off the tennis court, she managed to keep her goal intact and achieve victory for her country.

Raducanu showed tenacity by overcoming a set down to overcome Diane Parry of France 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (1). This gave her team an unbeatable 3-1 lead and a place in the new-look finals for the first time since Britain hosted the game in 2022. At the time, Britain was leading the tie 2-1.

The 21-year-old stated, “Tennis-wise I have improved because I feel like I am playing the best tennis of my career and my life,”. Not only that, she was also quite amazed by the way she achieved victories back-to-back on the clay surface against tough opponents. “I knew it would pay off eventually, so I’m very pleased this weekend it was able to show,” Emma summed up.
