Gauff vs Pironkova: Prediction

The clash promises to be an exciting contest. On one side, Coco is a fairly inexperienced player compared to her opponent, whereas Tsvetana has been on Tour for over a decade. After reaching the US Open quarterfinal last season, the Bulgarian player has not managed to attain similar results in the current season.

Gauff, on the other side, has fared well in doubles but not managed to cause upsets against the big names in singles. In recent years, the 17-year-old player has troubled top players from time to time.
