The husband of American tennis legend Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian, is an avid sports lover. However, his love for sports is not just restricted to tennis. Apart from the ball and racquet game, Ohanian also has a deep interest in NBA, MLB, and NFL. Adding to the list is his newfound love and admiration for golf and its legend, Tiger Woods.

The co-founder of Reddit has lately started following golf, especially Tiger Woods. The 39-year-old time and again uses his social media platforms to express his views on Woods. Yesterday was no different.

Alexis Ohanian addresses Tiger Woods as the GOAT

Yesterday, Tiger Woods had a day to forget. Despite showing off his champion-like skills, the 46-year-old failed to make it past the second round at ‘The Open’, St. Andrews.

Even though the legendary player failed to make it past the third round, it didn’t stop the golf world from praising Woods. Heading to the 18th fairway, Woods received a loud cheer and a standing ovation from the spectators. Furthermore, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, walking down towards another hole, tipped their caps towards Woods.

Tiger Woods is not new to praise from fans. However, the love from fans at St. Andrews emotionally affected Woods. Walking towards the 18th fairway, a tear wiping Woods tipped his cap to the fans. Seeing Woods like that undoubtedly left sports fans in a similar emotional state. It was the same case with Ohanian, as he tweeted about the golf legend. The Tweet featured the iconic yet emotional walk of Woods to the 18th fairway. Sharing the video, he addressed Woods as the ‘GOAT’ using the emoji of a goat.

Serena Williams announces her next tournament

Talking about greats, one cannot forget the legendary tennis star, and wife of Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams. Being out of the tour for a year, Williams finally made a comeback at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. The lack of match practice, especially in singles, left Williams with a first-round loss to Harmony Tan of France.

However, instead of being disappointed by the loss, Williams seems to have taken it in the most positive way. Looking in confident shape, Williams is set to kick off her North American campaign at the Rogers Cup, Toronto. With her presence confirmed in Canada, fans are hopeful of seeing Serena play at Flushing Meadows.
