“Something I like to think about nowadays is (that) you can’t please everyone and I feel like maybe people can, kind of, make mistakes while trying to please everyone,” the Canadian tennis star said.

“We all have different opinions”: Bouchard

She added that since no two persons are similar and are often at variance in terms of their beliefs and opinions, it does no good trying to please everyone.

She said she has learned not to react to the opinions of others and just focus on her game.

“You are literally never gonna make everyone happy. You shouldn’t because we are different, we all have different opinions.

So, just don’t worry about it, don’t worry about what people think, don’t worry about their opinions because you’re just not gonna please everyone,” the 26-year-old Bouchard said.

Bouchard, who made the Wimbledon final as well as the semifinal of the French Open in 2014, ruled herself out of a clutch of tennis events, including Grand Slams, to regather her strength and fitness and work on her game.
