Billie Jean King welcomes new Dodgers star

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is a talented Japanese baseball pitcher who has garnered attention for his exceptional skills. The 25-year-old pitcher was an easy buy for the Dodgers as they aimed to make him the Major League Baseball ace after a stellar start to his career in Japan. Yamamoto’s arrival was celebrated with all the noise, and many stars of other sports congratulated the team.

King, a baseball fan, congratulated the Dodgers on their new signing as they shared the announcement on their ‘X’ page. They shared a video that showed a compilation of his pitches with the caption, “Let’s work, Yoshinobu.”

Billie Jean King, on World AIDS Day, took to her Instagram to support the Elton John Foundation’s initiative to tackle HIV/AIDS. She shared a video of John talking about the issues persisting. Along with sharing the video, she also lauded his efforts to tackle the growing problem of the illness. However, King’s contribution went deeper than just spreading the message.

She and Mark Walter donated $1 million to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The donation was publicized by the LA Dodgers on their social media as they loved the efforts of the three. King and Dodgers share a close relationship, and it will continue for a long time.
