Tennis star Naomi Osaka recently witnessed the great boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, in action while attending a boxing match in Japan.

 The Japanese tennis ace has undoubtedly not had a good time on the court this year and suffered a lot of losses along the way. After her emotional withdrawal from the Tokyo Open earlier this week, the four-time Grand Slam champion was seen having a relaxing time as she enjoyed one of her favorite sports live.

Naomi Osaka enjoys the Japan Exhibition

The tennis star might not have had a good time on the tennis court, but she certainly makes the most of her time court off the court. Naomi Osaka is quite active on social media and likes to share little updates from her daily activities with her fans.

Recently, she posted about a boxing battle she attended as a part of the Japan Exhibition, where Floyd Mayweather Jr. took on the 30-year-old famous Japanese Mixed Martial Arts fighter Mikuru Asakura. She shared a series of pictures of herself and a video from the boxing arena.

She was seen wearing brown pants with a sheer shirt and had her hair tied up in the original Osaka style with her face mask on. In the pictures, she also shared a message she received that said, “Hope you feel better, nugget head.” with a bunch of flowers.

Osaka withdraws from the Tokyo Open

The Japanese star is currently suffering from injuries and mental health issues. She was trying to get her form back in her home tournament, but felt abdominal pain and left the match before it even started.

In her second-round match, she was scheduled to play against Beatriz Haddad Maia. But the former world number one’s withdrawal gave her opponent a walkover into the quarter-finals. Maia will now face world number four Irina Kudermetova.
