Legendary Boxer, Mike Tyson, is a tennis fan. Despite being the best boxer in the ring, the champion now devotes his time to a new sport- tennis. The reason behind his tennis inclination is his 14-year-old daughter, who is getting ready to play tennis as a professional sport.

His daughter, Milan Tyson, is practicing under Serena Williams’ former coach Patrick Mouratoglou for her future and her father is her enormous support. He was recently invited as a guest in the Connors’ father-son podcast, where they talked about various things, including a lot from both sports, respectively.

The heavyweight boxer Tyson, along with the tennis legend Jimmy Connors, sat down together to have a detailed discussion on their views on the sport. And when asked if her daughter follows her father’s footsteps, when it comes to her killer side, the boxing legend talked about the one knowledgeable aspect he wants her daughter to learn.

He said, “She is very aggressive. I have to bowl very hard, and what she has to learn more than anything…how talented you are. How good you are. Without discipline, you are nothing. She has to learn discipline.”

He further added that whichever sport a person chooses, they have to be disciplined in that way of approaching the sport. And wants her daughter to learn the same before she steps into the circuit.

Tyson praises Coco Gauff

The boxing legend in the same conversation praised the Young tennis sensation, Coco Gauff, for being an exceptional player at a young age. And not only that, but he also believes that she is on the right way and has a sufficient amount of time to improve. And added that this quality is different from the other players.

The 18-year-old tennis player has not won a single title on the court this year. But giving her the best performances against her opponents. However, she reached the Roland Garros final earlier this year and reached the top 10 highest-ranked tennis players. She has achieved the world number eight ranking as her new career highest ranking. The young player is very fond of the Williams sisters and wants to follow their legacy in the sport.
