‘Who Will Be There?’ – Excited Eugenie Bouchard Teases Fans as She Gears Up to Attend the Inaugural Miami GP

Eugenie Bouchard, the Canadian tennis star, witnessed the peak of her career in the year 2014. She claimed the ranking of world no.5 and had a fantastic run till the finals of Wimbledon and Semifinals of the French and Australian Open. However, not long after that, her game plateaued and in the year 2021, she incurred a shoulder injury. Since her first-round exit in Monterrey Open 2021, Bouchard is keeping off the circuit.

Even though Bouchard has made no professional appearance for almost a year now, she has maintained her bond with her fans. The Canadian uses her social media handles to stay in tune with her fans. Recently, she disclosed what she plans to do during her visit to Miami.

Eugenie Bouchard Is All Set for F1

Bouchard shared an Instagram story to inform her fans that she traveled to Miami to witness the beauty of speed. She wrote, “Off to Miami F1! Who will be there?”

Earlier the Canadian visited the 8AM Golf event where she met American music sensation, Justin Timberlake. Following that, she and her friends had some action on the golf course. Therefore, it won’t be wrong to say that Eugenie is taking proper breaks between her practice sessions.

Eugenie gets a lot of support and love on social media as she has around 2.2 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million on Twitter.

Bouchard’s Comeback

After facing defeat in the first round of the Monterrey Open, Bouchard decided to undergo surgery for her injured right shoulder and has been in the process of recovering ever since. However, now that she has started practicing, people are hoping to see her back on the court soon. In fact, the former world no.5 herself admitted that she hopes for a wildcard entry into the upcoming French Open. Though, her current ranking might be a hurdle to her desires.

Further, Bouchard is showing positive signs of a comeback. She recently played exhibition sets with Sofia Kenin, the American tennis professional who has been ranked as high as world no.4, and Alison Riske, who currently is actively taking part in tours.
