This time, Ohanian went to the field to try something new. And no, before you start guessing, it is not tennis. But a lot of tennis stars like Rafael Nadal love the sport. You might have guessed it by now and after seeing the video, you might not believe that it was his first time.

Ohanian has explored the world of soccer and tennis because of both his daughter and his wife. And obviously, he is a proficient techie entrepreneur. But it was his first time trying a new sport

The influence of Serena Williams motivates Ohanian to make his debut in the golf realm

Ohanian learned a lot from Serena Williams and vice versa. And the new thing that he has picked up is golf. Even if Williams doesn’t play it, her featuring in an ad where she played golf did it for Ohanian.

Only when he picked up a golf club did Ohanian know he has a knack for the sport. He took to Twitter to share his first swing excitedly and asked his followers to guess if he had done it before. Expressing his desire to do a before and after video, he recorded that swing as his first one.

He stated, “Can you tell I’ve never done this before? I wanted this (literally my first ever swing) for posterity so I can do one of those dope before and after videos in a few years when I’m hitting dingers 350+ yards.” 

But after seeing his first swing, it seems like he is going to get to his after-video pretty soon. As a matter of fact, he would not have been able to explore this talent had it not been for his wife.

How did Williams make Ohanian try golf? 

She did not do much. The 23-time Grand Slam champion played golf during the Super Bowl swing in a golf-themed party with Michelob Ultra. And there she showed her fans that golf might not be her forte, although she is good at everything. And seeing her try golf motivated Ohanian too. He commented on her Instagram picture where he stated that this was enough for him to try golf.
