It was Serena Williams who introduced Alexis Ohanian to tennis. However, it was only because of his investment that he got acquainted with golf. He invested in Williams’ brother-like figures Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy TMRW’s TGL, a tech-advanced golf league. And now this investment is paving the way for him to spend quality time with Serena Williams and Olympia, and even Venus Williams.

More so because the destination for TGL is nearby his home in Palm Beach Gardens. This eventually makes it even more accessible.

TGL paves the way for Alexis Ohanian to spend time with Serena Williams and Olympia

Alexis Ohanian recently started hitting the golf greens, and he seems to be getting addicted to it. However, before this, he did not know much about the sport. Except for the fact that he had invested in TGL, a tech-based golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

TGL is a league created by TMRW. In it, three teams of PGA tour players will compete on a virtual course. And Ohanian stated in the podcast Joe Pom Show, “It’s right down the street where we live in Palm Beach. So, obviously, that is very convenient.” He added, “I am expecting a lot of date nights with my wife, sister-in-law, and daughter.” Correcting himself, he stated, “Well, the date night would be just with my wife.”

Ohanian found the appeal in the sport with a bit of customization. He stated, “When I discovered there was a golf tournament that actually embodies all the things I love about going to an NFL game. I just looked around and like why isn’t this the norm?” He also added, “You start to bring in the emotion of a packed arena.”

TMRW’s TGL is going to be the first-of-its-kind type of golf league. It will set a precedent for the customization of the sport.

Both Tiger Woods and Greg Norman are legendary names in the realm of golf. And the leagues by the two are startlingly different. So, when a fan asked Ohanian to choose his favorite among the two, Ohanian instantly picked his side. He stated that he chose TGL’s side when he decided to invest in TMRW and TGL.
