Jane Park’s Halloween tribute to Serena and ‘King’ Richard

In a tribute to the legendary tennis star Serena Williams and her father Richard Williams, professional golfer Jane Park dressed up as Richard while her daughter Grace reproduced the iconic US Open 2022 look of Serena Williams.

In the pictures, we can see the little girl with a racket in her hand. She was donning a similar outfit that Serena used in her last US Open. Grace, the daughter of the golfer, had a brain injury last year, and this was the first Halloween for the family after that incident.

Serena Williams hints at retirement U-Turn

The 23-time Grand Slam champion said at the time of her retirement announcement that she would like to use the term ‘evolving away from tennis.’ Although she didn’t use the exact word retirement, her appearance at the US Open earlier this year was what everyone thought to be her last tournament.

While the tennis legend said that she is focusing more on her family now, a recent statement might just hint that the former world number 1 is thinking of coming out of her retirement. While promoting her investment firm in San Francisco, the 41-year-old said that the chances of her comeback are very high.
