The official Twitter handle of the Los Angeles Golf Club, Ohanian’s club in the league, recently shared a tweet regarding the TGL Golf League officially starting on January 7, 2025 – “Exciting news in the golf world! We are officially 8 months out from the start of our season. The TGL Golf League is set to officially start on January 7th, 2025, featuring stars like Tiger Woods and our very own Collin Morikawa, alongside Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose. Who’s ready to tee off?”

In no time, Alexis Ohanian expressed his excitement about the TGL Golf League, in a comment, as he eagerly awaits the involvement of prominent golfers like Tiger Woods, Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose.

It wouldn’t be incorrect to argue that Ohanian’s passion fuels the growing excitement among players and spectators alike, as evidenced by the buzz and anticipation around the approaching tournament. The Reddit co-founders Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams, and Venus Williams secured the first franchise in the TGL, the tech-forward team golf league developed by Tiger Woods.

Previously, in an interview with Reuters, he stated, “I knew I wanted to do this team and I knew I wanted to bring Serena in so I was like, babe come on board. When I told her I was going to start another team she was like, seriously.” However, just a few days ago, the 40-year-old American entrepreneur revealed how there is one more person better at golf than him, and it’s not other than his six-year-old daughter, Olympia.

Just a few days ago, the co-founder of Reddit revealed on Twitter that he had to start taking golf lessons in order to keep up with his daughter Olympia. He wrote, “Jr is so much better than me and I’m taking matters into my own hands and getting lessons… And now I’ve got #TheMasters on TV cheering our LAGC guys on. What a perfect Sunday.”

In addition, the 40-year-old stated that he intended to witness the 2024 Masters Tournament, which was scheduled to feature players from Ohanian’s club, LAGC. Ohanian is one of the club’s investors, along with Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Olympia.
