Evert divorced Andy Mill in 2006, and after two years, got married to Greg Norman. At that point, she did not know how it was going to pan out. So, during an interview in 2008, she and Norman expressed their views over his ex-wife, Laura Andrassy. Evert said, “Everybody gets hurt and I think everybody has moved on, except for one person. I think we would love to see Laura move on.”

Furthermore, she said, “You know you hope that time heals all wounds and to find some peace and go forward.” With a subtle dig, she said, “If you have too much time on your hands to criticize people, then you must not be finding something in your life that you love to do.”
