The 65-year-old took to Twitter to react to the annual 9/11 commemorative tweets by George Bush’s Press Secretary, Ari Fleischer. She said, “Another bites the dust… What a pathetic excuse of a man…”

Earlier, it came to light that Bush’s press secretary, Ari Fleischer, has retired the annual 9/11 commemorative tweets months after getting hired by the Saudi LIV Golf Tour. Fleischer is the communications consultant for the LIV Golf Series.

Some top players like Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson are participating in the LIV Golf Series. However, American legend, Tiger Woods, has turned down a multi-million dollar offer to become a part of this tournament.

Navratilova shares the stage with Iga Swiatek and Ons Jabeur

After the 2022 US Open women’s singles final between Iga Swiatek and Ons Jabeur, Navratilova made an appearance at the trophy ceremony alongside the two finalists.

Talking about the moment, Navratilova said, What a treat to be sharing the stage with two champions- congrats @iga_swiatek and also to @ons_Jabeur – both great role models for aspiring girls and boys everywhere! Women’s tennis is in good hands!!!”

Swiatek went on to win her second Grand Slam title of the season, defeating Jabeur in straight sets in the summit clash of the US Open. Moreover, she consolidated her Number 1 ranking with this huge victory. On the other hand, Jabeur moved up three spots to become the new World Number 2. However, she trails Swiatek by more than 5000 ranking points.
