Leaving aside the talk of the greatest athlete, if we focus solely on tennis, it’s a difficult ground to judge the greatest here as well. Serena Williams ended her career with 23 Grand Slam titles to her name. The record for most is with Australian tennis legend Margaret Court.

However, Court explained the challenges of her time as well. The Aussie recalled how difficult it was at her time to travel for the tournaments. Further, she also explained how the money they earned was far lesser than what tennis players earn today.
