Coco Gauff might not be the greatest WTA tennis player yet, however, she has been advancing swiftly in her both on-court and off-court life. While she is on-court, she knows how to dominate both the singles and doubles circuits. And while she is off-court, she is taking down her country’s legends like Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka to join the ranks of LeBron James and Michael Jordan. This has happened due to her new endorsement with the classic New Balance footwear brand.

Gauff has achieved the feat of becoming the only current WTA player with a signature shoe, and her first look with the shoes was recently shared on Instagram.

Coco Gauff joins Michael Jordan and LeBron James to leave behind WTA stars Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka

Despite having 23 and four Grand Slam titles respectively, Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka could not bag an exclusive deal with New Balance. The renowned shoe brand has gone with an upcoming rising star for a long-term extension deal.

Not just that, she got herself a player-exclusive variant of the New Balance shoes. As the brand flaunts the first look of the shoes through its Instagram account, it makes her the only WTA tennis player to bag such a deal.

With a black and white theme and a classic logo of New Balance, Gauff looks stunning while showing off her signature shoe, The Coco CG1. It stated, “A timeless original. The Coco CG1 “Coco Classics” launching February 1st. The first of its kind.”
