Even the co-founder of Nike, Phil Knight was there in the stands watching the Lakers star’s 38-point scoring performance against Oklahoma City. To capture that historical moment, almost every other fan in the stands took their phones to click images of James after he scored that record-breaking point. A picture of fans capturing that iconic moment on their phones has also broken the internet.

It also caught the attention of the Russian tennis legend, Maria Sharapova who noticed something unique in that picture. She noticed how quietly Knight was sitting while every other person on the courtside was busy clicking pictures of James and his antics. The 5 singles Grand Slam champion also took to her social media to lavish praise on the American businessman for truly enjoying LeBron’s record-breaking moment. Sharapova stated, “Phil Knight. No screen. No need”.

After his recent triumphs in the NBA realm, the sports fashion powerhouse, Nike has recently released an advert to honor the Los Angeles Lakers star. The latest commercial showing some clips of James has also caught the attention of the Japanese tennis star, Naomi Osaka.

She also took to her social media to shower praise on the advertisement honoring the NBA legend. Osaka further lauded Nike for always releasing the best commercials considering some of the most iconic moments in the sporting community. However, her legion of fans wasn’t impressed with those remarks as they opposed her.
