The four-time Grand Slam champion is ready to create more than her tennis legacy with her new production company Hana Kuma. After the first children’s book release, from the same production house, the tennis player is now all set to speak volumes with the short film which is releasing under the same banner. However, it feels like the tennis legend Billie Jean King also has something to say regarding the way Osaka is budding with her roles.

Not only that, the Japanese tennis player has partnered with the NBA Legend LeBron James to start a media production company.

Billie Jean King, a 39-time Grand Slam winner, recently lauded the Japanese tennis star for trying out new professions in order to make a small contribution to society, while speaking with the boardroom.

The 79-year-old tennis veteran claimed that Naomi Osaka had a remarkable career on the court and is currently leading a remarkable life off it. Not to mention that she is the first Japanese player to win a major and has 14 Grand Slam victories.

Further, she added, “As the top earner in all of women’s sports these last few years I think Naomi has really done a lot to break down barriers for female athletes. I know gender equality is especially important to her and I was very pleased to see her as executive producer on MINK! about Patsy Mink and Title IX.” Feels like the American Legend is quite impressed with the Japanese tennis player’s way of finding gender equality in society.

When Billie Jean King applauded Osaka’s social skills

The 24-year-old tennis player has received praise from the legendary tennis player before. The tennis legend stated emphatically last year that the former world number one has only just begun and has a long way to go.
