Sam Kerr talked with Standard UK about who she idolizes. She mentioned that she is someone who loves to entertain, score many goals and come off as a fun player.

I want to be someone that is entertaining, that’s fun, that scores goals, does good celebrations,” Kerr says.

She does so because she has always enjoyed players who are entertainers. The 23-time Grand slam winner Serena Williams and the man with the most points scores, LeBron James, are her idols. She reasoned that they have been at the top of their game consistently for several years.

Kerr said, “I have always liked those players that have just been entertainers. I love the big-time players. I love LeBron James, Serena Williams, those players that are consistently at the top of their game. Even now I like those kind of out-there players, even if it’s just their hair, their kit. But I understand being at the top level you have to do that dirty work.”
