HBO is releasing the film, ‘King Richard’, based on the life of Richard Williams- the father of Venus and Serena Williams. The 79-year-old has been the backbone of both the Williams’ sisters and it is because of his efforts that the world is witnessing two top-quality tennis players today.
Interestingly, renowned Hollywood actor, Will Smith is playing the character of the Richard Williams in the movie. He is also one of the producers of the film, while Serena and Venus Williams are executive producers.

Venus and Serena Williams feature on the cover page of Entertainment Weekly along with Will Smith
Famous American monthly magazine Entertainment Weekly recently released its new edition. Published by the Meredith corporation, the cover page of the magazine stars Serena and Venus along with Will Smith this month.

Smith was ecstatic after the release of the new edition of the magazine. He shared the picture of the cover page on his Instagram handle and wrote quite a hilarious caption along with it.
“Wowww 12 Wimbledon titles between us, that’s wild! Thanx Entertainment Weekly for the love. King Richard is coming y’all!!” wrote Smith in the caption of his new post.

Along with the picture, Smith shared a reel in which one can watch him posing with Serena and Venus for the cover photograph. The three of them can also be seen sharing a light moment just before the photograph, with Heat Waves by Glass Animals playing in the background. Surprisingly, it is after many years that both the Williams’ sisters have featured on the cover of a magazine together.

When is King Richard hitting the box office?
The second trailer of King Richard recently got released. The movie will hit the theatres on November 19, 2021, and thus, fans are quite excited about the film.
