Now once again, the 7 singles Grand Slam champion has come forward for another noble endeavor as she is all set to co-host an online auction in order to save the late legendary American singer, Nina Simone’s legacy.
The main purpose of this event is to raise funds for the preservation of the house where the late singer grew up, according to an exclusive report. The American tennis legend has collaborated with the renowned artist, Adam Pendleton as together they will host the fundraising event. In addition to a dinner gala, an online auction will be hosted at Pace Gallery’s 540 West 25th Street flagship in New York. The African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund is the main force behind this noble initiative for the legendary American singer, Nina Simone.

Venus, who has already made her mark in the tennis realm, will now take up the role of organizing the artworks in the auction that will be held at Manhattan’s Pace Gallery in New York. Speaking of the same in a press release, the WTA legend said, “I’m so excited to be a part of this expansive project centering on the life and legacy of Nina Simon”
