Venus Williams‘ profound influence has already inspired a slew of young female athletes to take up the sport. Being an iconic figure in the country, the American tennis legend has often motivated others to persevere in the face of obstacles and disappointments.
Even for her legion of fans, the 7 singles Grand Slam champion is now tasked with keeping their spirits up during an adverse phase. Notably, the 42-year-old tennis star recently cheered up a dejected fan with a heartfelt message on social media.

Venus Williams is taking care of her legion of fans on social media
It is been a while since the former world No. 1 player adorned the courts with her elegant game style as she is struggling with her injury woes. Despite being away from competitive tennis, Venus Williams has still managed to motivate others on social media.
The American tennis icon recently conducted a Q&A session on her ‘ElevenbyVenus’ Instagram account in order to converse with her fans. Meanwhile, one of the users vented out his/her dejection by saying, “What do you think about the fact of being different than others? It seems like it’s a sin”
It received a bit of philosophical advice from the 42-year-old tennis legend who uploaded a video clip. In that video, Williams stated, “I’m not sure what kind of sin this could be. But the fact of the matter is, out of all the billions of people on earth, all of us are different. Every single one of us and in our differences is where we find our strengths.”

She added, “And where we’re able to push each other and innovate and create new things have new perspectives. Differences are beautiful and should be celebrated and it’s definitely not a sin. And I hope that you’re feeling good about who you are because there’s only one of you that makes you especially unique.”

Williams also encourages her fellow compatriot on social media
The 7 singles Grand Slam champion has won herself a slew of admirers in the tennis community including her compatriot, Coco Gauff. During an old interview, the American tennis prodigy revealed how the WTA legend has always served as an inspiration to her.
The 19-year-old player stated that Venus has often dropped some encouraging comments on her pictures and videos on Instagram. Even during her interviews, the 42-year-old tennis icon sometimes mentioned the name of her peer and that really motivates Gauff to strive for success on the court.
