Probably, she was mentioning the love a dog has for balls, as they like fetching it, in general. Notably, Martina has a cute Miniature Dachshund breed, named Lulu, as she often posts about her on Twitter and other social media platforms. A few months ago, Lulu made an appearance during an interview with Good Morning Britain. And a few years back, Martina posted about two purebred Malinois puppies as they were up for adoption at that time.

We all know that Martina has always been pretty fond of dogs. In 1986, she lost one of her four dogs. The dog was two and a half years old, Shiba named Yonni. She posted many flyers and posters in search of her dog with a hefty reward. Eventually, she found the dog, which did get a lot of attention from the media at that time.

Since starting her career in 1975, Martina dominated the sport with her outstanding game of tennis. She is still the only player to win 2189 matches in the open era, male or female. Also, no other player has won more singles titles (167) and doubles titles (177) than the Czech-American players.
Remarkably, in 2006, she was still active as a player when she won the US Open mixed doubles title at the age of nearly 50. According to another great American legend, Billie Jean King, Martina, was the greatest, as she said, “the greatest singles, doubles, and mixed doubles player who ever lived.”
