Recently, the 7-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Simone Biles became a victim of unpleasant words from Jenna Ellis, commonly known as the lawyer of former American president Donald Trump. Learning about the harsh viewpoint, Navratilova took no time to come in support of Biles.

Going back in time, Simona Biles opted to pull out from the 2020 Olympic Games (Held in 2021) following mental health issues. While the 25-year-old received massive love and support from her fans and followers, that wasn’t the case with Ellis. Yesterday, Ellis came out in public, calling Biles a loser.

Being a prominent lawyer in America, her words in time became the talk of the town. Learning about the comments of Ellis, a disturbed Biles opted to give it back to the 37-year-old. The American gymnast took to her Twitter handle, putting up a post. The post, directed toward Jenna, read, “who is Jenna Ellis? Asking for everyone.”

During her playing days, Martina Navratilova led tennis to its prime. Being a player of an elite sport like tennis, she is aware of the grind that goes into making a mark in an elite sport. Learning about Jenna’s words, a furious Navratilova took no time to give it back to her.

Replying to Jenna, Navratilova wrote, “If you knew anything at all about elite sports, you would know what Biles did was actually unselfish, but you wouldn’t know the meaning of that , would you? And what exactly did you ever win? Any Olympic medals? Anything? I’ll hold…”

Navratilova comes out in support of Biles

Navratilova left no stone unturned in showing her disagreement and disapproval towards Jenna’s words. After giving it back to her, Navratilova next moved towards Simone Biles to extend her support. Expressing her concern and support towards Simone, Navratilova wrote, “A real nobody, no worries Simone:)”

Earlier this year, Simone Biles admitted that she would want to take at least a year off before returning to the sport. Meanwhile, on the entertainment side, she became a part of ABC network’s sitcom series Black-ish. Recovering from her mental health issues, fans hope to see the 7-time Olympic champion make a comeback soon.
