‘A Total A**hole’ – A Week After Ons Jabeur’s Wimbledon Heartbreak, Martina Navratilova Rips Apart a Twitter User for Sharing an Appalling Grand Slam Statistic

There is no doubt that the American tennis legend, Martina Navratilova, etched her position as one of the legendary figures in the history books of the women’s circuit. In addition to her accomplishments in the tennis community, the Hall of Famer is also known for her blunt approach to articulating her ideas and opinions. The former tennis ace has further taken her no-filter demeanor to her online platforms, as she has never shied away from lashing out at naysayers. This was evident when a Twitter tennis handle recently brought to light an appalling ‘Grand Slam’ statistic concerning the Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur.

Taking note of the cynical tweet, the 59-time Grand Slam champion has now come forward to lambast the page on social media.

The former world no. 2 player, Ons Jabeur, recently came close to clinching her first-ever Grand Slam title at the recently concluded Wimbledon Championships. However, after a remarkable grass-court major campaign, the Tunisian tennis star was outclassed by the Czech tennis player, Markéta Vondroušová, in straight sets.

Taking note of her recent defeat at the British Slam, one of the tennis fan pages on Twitter brought to light an obscure statistic. The page tweeted, “Muslim women are now 0-6 in Grand Slam finals.”

It was later met with a lot of criticism and backlash from the tennis community who flocked to the comments section. Even the American tennis legend, Martina Navratilova, was quick to react to the Tweet as she ripped the fan page apart with her blunt response. She commented, “A total as*hole is who you are and need to be blocked”

With her recent remarks on Twitter, the former tennis ace has once again showcased her no-filter demeanor. In addition to the fans, some of the notable figures have also been a target of scrutiny from the 18 singles Grand Slam champion.

The American tennis legend has also been an avid critic of Elon Musk

The WTA legend has never held herself back from lambasting the CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, and his business tycoons. She recently used her online platform to give her blunt assessment of the business magnate’s latest EV vehicle, the Tesla Cybertruck. On her Twitter account, the former tennis player labeled the design of the light-duty truck as ‘ugly’. She tweeted, “This thing is as ugly as it gets,” after she came across one of the video clips of the vehicle being built at its ‘Giga Texas’.
