It looks like her husband has joined her in this race, as he is currently trying his best to surpass a record-breaking sale of trading cards that doubled the previous records for female athletes.
Although it’s been a year since the record has been scripted, Alexis Ohanian wasn’t really pleased with the record that it set. After more than a year of being unhappy, he is now making every effort to pull another card, as he intends to create history.

The Reddit co-founder is one of the biggest supporters of the 23-time Grand Slam champion, both on and off the tennis court. By doing so, he has a massive collection of the American tennis legend’s cards. And even today he continues to collect more cards just to create history, trying to strengthen his wife’s astounding legacy.
Recently, the 40-year-old American entrepreneur took to his Twitter account to share his new addition to his rookie card collection. He shared a picture of the 2003 Williams Netpro sports card and wrote, “Another one.”

The 2003 Netpro pack is the first set of tennis cards to become available to the public after a decade. Not only that, it is the first officially licensed card for other tennis players, including Venus Williams, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Her husband took to Twitter to express his pride at the fact that someone other than him is interested in promoting women’s abilities.

Along with that, he shared his disappointment that he was not the one who could get his hands on this card. However, after five years of constant struggle, he has now succeeded in obtaining the rookie card of his wife. Nonetheless, Ohanian is a great rookie card collector and might give other sports card collectors a run for their money.
