After cheering Williams to victory, Ohanian coincidentally crossed paths with world-renowned social activist Malala Yousafzai. However, when he met her for the second time in the same week, something clicked in his mind.

Although Williams has made a comeback after almost a year, her gameplay seems to have the same sharpness as earlier. She, along with her Tunisian partner, took down the Czech- Spanish duo in the first round of Eastbourne International. Though it took a set for them to find the rhythm, they were fabulously coordinated in the rest two.

Thereafter, on Wednesday, they locked horns with the Taiwanese tennis professional Chan Hao-ching who played in the finals of 2017 Wimbledon and last year’s doubles semifinalist Shuko Aoyama, the 34-year-old Japanese tennis ace. Even though the duo had two experienced players against them, they took an easy straight set win of 6-2, 6-4.
