Coco Gauff, the young tennis ace has taken the tennis world by storm. There is one opponent that has so far proved to be a tough nut to crack for Gauff – Iga Swiatek. Gauff’s rivalry with Swiatek has been one of the most exciting matchups in women’s tennis in recent years. The two young stars have faced off multiple times, including a high-stakes encounter at the 2022 French Open Final.

Gauff has issued a warning to her top WTA opponent. The American has labeled Swiatek as the biggest challenge on the tour. In her recent post-match conference, she named  Swiatek as the player she is yet to beat, and crowned her as the biggest challenge for her.

The American’s comments have made it clear that she is well aware of the challenge that lies ahead of her. Coco Gauff wants to establish herself as one of the top players on the tour. Iga Swiatek has been in sensational form over the past year and has shown no signs of slowing down. In the post-match conference of the Porsche Grand Prix tennis tournament, she shared, “I mean, right now, head-to-head, definitely Iga. I haven’t beaten her. I would say she is the biggest. I’ve gotten some wins over pretty everybody else.”

Gauff also chimed, “Obviously everyone in the top 10 everyone I think I have played. Yeah, I pretty much played and maybe won and lost except for Iga. I think she’s the only one I haven’t beat.”
