After a long year of amazing tournaments and new players like Coco Gauff rising up on the international charts, it is now time for the fans to witness an important tournament. The WTA Finals are now going on. The current world no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has been playing hard enough to finish off this year along with maintaining her position on the international charts. The Belarusian champ recently came up with a revelation of not getting enough time to practice for the crucial tournament.

Joining Sabalenka’s league of thoughts, tennis star Elena Rybakina also shared her disappointment about the limited practice time for the WTA Finals match. She mentioned, “It surprised me that we didn’t get a chance yet to practice. I think that’s the only day now. I’m going to get the first hit in the evening. Tomorrow I have to play the match, so this is a bit disappointing.” Although the situation would no doubt be disturbing enough for the participants, Elena held her hopes high as she said, “But it is what it is. I guess we’re going to try to do our best to show good tennis, which is not going to be that easy with such windy conditions. But overall, I mean, Mexico is really nice. Yeah, I think we just try to do our best here.”

“Well, I’m not happy that we couldn’t practice on the match court. I think this is not the level for the WTA Finals,” said Sabaklenka. “We literally have one hour today to try the stadium. This is something that I’m not happy with. I’m pretty sure the rest of the players are also not happy. We need like three to four days to kind of like adjust to the conditions. But, yeah, we’ll see. But I hope that next year WTA will do a better job.”
