The Academy Award-winning Warner Bros. drama King Richard, based on Venus and Serena Williams‘ father, was a smash hit. Following the fantastic film’s success, the American tennis sister duo are all set to come up with a new project to inspire and uplift the lives of black people. According to Deadline news, the iconic sister duo has teamed up with Oscar-nominated ‘Thar’ producer, Alexandra Milchan, to come up with an En Garde. The new feature is to be adapted for the big screen and Bush Renz (Antebellum) will direct the movie. In addition, Black Brother, a book released in 2020, will serve as in inspiration for the movie. Additionally, discussing the lives of black people is set to be among the central themes of the movie.

However, this is not the only endeavor that will involve former American tennis greats. A few months ago, they teamed up with Will Smith, who plays King Richard, to mount a prestigious Hollywood project that will be based on soccer.
Williams sisters team up with Will Smith
The Williams sisters have taken on new hats as producers and joined the entertainment business. Yet, the sisters are unstoppable, working tirelessly one after the other to work as producers and illuminate people’s lives. The tennis superstars will act as executive producers for the upcoming sports documentary “COPA 71,” according to Variety reports.

The 41-year-old tennis legend also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to be a member of the production team. And added that the documentary would tell the tale of one of the most influential and well-known moments in the history of women’s soccer.
