Being a Jehovah’s Witness herself, the 23-time Grand Slam champion chose the name Olympia for her first child as a nod to Greek mythology. However, this time, the former tennis player wants to delve into the magical universe of make-believe to fish out an appropriate name for her second child.

Jehovah’s Witness Serena Williams chooses a different approach to name her second-born

Just like a lot of people in the US, the American tennis legend also believes in conservative Christian values. However, recently, the former tennis player took to her TikTok account to share a video in which she was talking about different names for her second-born. But instead of going for any mythological or religious name, the 41-year-old tennis player decided that this time she would like to name her baby after her favorite Disney characters.

In the video, she said, “I was thinking about… I don’t know the gender, I don’t know if we’re having a girl or a boy. So, I’m thinking about some names and I was like maybe I should do something with my favorite Disney characters because I love Disney, and as you know, I’m like their biggest fan. So, if it’s a girl, it could be like Maleficent, that’s how you say it?”
