It’s the off-season, a time for tennis players to unwind after diligently keeping up with a hectic schedule. Even the American tennis prodigy, Coco Gauff is making the most of the off-court holidays, as she recently attended the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival that is held annually at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
While sharing some snippets of her carnival trip on social media, the reigning US Open champion revealed how she also grooved to some hip-hop beats at the Teezo Touchdown concert. However, just after treating herself to a carnival experience, the 19-year-old is back to the grind as a new season now awaits her.

Coco Gauff is leaving no stone unturned for the new season
In her recent Instagram stories, the American tennis star shared some glimpses of her visit to the Barwis Performance Center in South Florida. It is a holistic sports performance and physical therapy facility, home to many prominent athletes, including Coco Gauff.
The young WTA sensation further underwent the VO2 Max testing that reflects her cardio-respiratory fitness, determining a number of limiting physical factors. While sharing a picture of herself on a treadmill, Gauff added the caption, “preseason day 1. we back.”
The official Instagram page of the Barwis facility also hailed the current world No. 3 player in their latest post. They said, “Always seeking the competitive edge, Coco Gauff stopped by today for the BARWIS ARS Screen and VO2 Max testing. 💪To enhance her on-court performance, Coco Gauff leverages the BARWIS ARS Screen to optimize her body and address any deficiencies uncovered during the screening.”

The Barwis Performance Center in South Florida is not unfamiliar territory for the newly crowned Grand Slam champion. Even during the previous season’s off-court holidays, Gauff was there for a special training session.

Coco Gauff’s previous visit to the Barwis performance facility
Even during the 2022 season, the young WTA superstar was sighted hitting some cardio equipment at the Barwis performance facility. The 19-year-old was there to train alongside her cousin, Duriel, who has also been part of the performance center for a long period since recovering from a coma after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
Notably, during the previous season’s vacation, Gauff was there with her cousin for a special training session as they commemorated his one-year anniversary of recovering from a coma.
