

Last month, Serena Williams had wonderful news for her fans. After being out of action for close to a year, the 23-time Grand Slam champion announced her singles comeback at the Wimbledon Championships 2022. On her comeback, she had the strong backing of her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and her daughter, Olympia. The two accompanied Serena at Wimbledon and were in attendance to watch the former World Number 1 play.

While Serena had been away from tennis over the past year, she spent quality time with her family. She often shared glimpses of her time with her daughter and her husband. Recently, Alexis shared a picture with his daughter during their outing in London.
Serena Williams’ husband enjoys a wonderful time with daughter Olympia
The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to give a glimpse of his time with his daughter. Sharing their adorable picture, Alexis said, “Afternoon tea with Lady @OlympiaOhanian – thx for the recommendations y’all. Got us in to the Bridgerton tea at The Lanesborough.” While Olympia was all smiles, Alexis struck a candid pose as they enjoyed their tea date.

Serena didn’t have an ideal result on her singles comeback. She went down fighting against France’s Harmony Tan in the first round of the Wimbledon Championships 2022. Nonetheless, she put on a gritty display in her first singles match after a year.

Serena on standing out from the crowd
During the post-match press conference after her first-round Wimbledon exit, the 23-time Grand Slam champion revealed how she has been a ‘game changer’ throughout her illustrious career. Talking about this, she said, “Yeah, you just don’t be afraid to be different and don’t be afraid to stand out and yeah, I think I’ve, that’s been me and I love changing the game. I think that’s you know, something that I never kind of set out to do, and then somehow I did it, somehow I’m Serena and it’s pretty awesome.”
