Also, she performed the song ‘Be Alive’ from the King Richard movie, a film base on Serena and Venus Williams’ father, Richard Williams.

Yesterday, Serena made a comeback to tennis after a year-long gap. Interestingly, Beyonce also made a comeback on the same day. The former world number 1, took to her Twitter account to share a post regarding the same.

Serena Williams reacts to the coincidence

23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams surprised everyone when she announced her plans to make a comeback after almost one year. The 40-year-old last played in Wimbledon Championship 2021, where she left midway because of a hamstring injury. Further, the former world number one took time to recover to her fullest before making her comeback yesterday in the Eastbourne Doubles. Pairing with Ons Jabeur she won an entertaining match to advance into the quarterfinals.

Interestingly, her friend, the famous singer Beyonce, released a new song named ‘Break my Soul’ on the same day. While fans were quick to notice the coincidence, the legendary tennis player also shared a post about the same and wrote ‘Aiiiiiii’in excitement.

Serena to play in Wimbledon 2022

It was a huge surprise for everyone, as her name was not present on the entry list for Wimbledon. However, she later accepted a wild card entry to the prestigious grasscourt Grand Slam.
