The 40-year-old last played in Wimbledon Championship 2021, where she left midway because of a hamstring injury. Further, the former world number one took time to recover to her fullest before making her comeback yesterday in the Eastbourne Doubles. Pairing with Ons Jabeur she won an entertaining match to advance into the quarterfinals.

Interestingly, her friend, the famous singer Beyonce, released a new song named ‘Break my Soul’ on the same day. While fans were quick to notice the coincidence, the legendary tennis player also shared a post about the same and wrote ‘Aiiiiiii’in excitement.

After making her comeback in the Eastbourne doubles, Serena is all set to take part in the Wimbledon Championship2022.
