Jennifer Brady is a player who has been struggling with injuries for a while now. After returning to the court in 2023, she had quite a tough time finding a proper grip on her game. Unfortunately, she found herself sidelined by injury once again. But, the recent health update shared by her has given the Tennis fraternity one more glimpse of hope.
Brady withdrew from the WTA Tour as she was suffering from a chronic foot condition and knee pain. She left because of similar reasons, creating much uncertainty about her return. But she has calmed worried fans now.

Jennifer Brady gives fans a relieving update
Brady returned in 2023 in a Challenger tournament in Canada but lost in the second round. A similar fate would await him in the Citi Open and the Canadian Open. The Cincinnati Masters lost in the first round. She saw much improvement in the US Open as she managed to play till the third round. She followed it with another second-round stint in the China Open.

After the tournament, she experienced another knee injury and had to be sidelined at the start of this year. She did not dive deep into the injury but recently updated her fans that she has begun recovery. On her ‘X’ profile, she wrote, “So it begins! #roadtorecovery Thank you @BrianColeMD“. She wrote the caption with a picture of her on a bed with tapes attached to her knee.

Along with her was her doctor, Brian Cole. Brady has suffered a long bout with injury, which began in 2021. The seriousness of the issue even made her believe she might have to retire.
Brady began experiencing left foot stiffness months after her debut Grand Slam final in Melbourne in 2021, which worsened over time. She skipped the grass court season to compete in the Olympics in Tokyo, where she lost in the first round. Brady then competed in the Cincinnati Open, where she tore her left plantar fascia during her second-round match.

While the depth of her injury was unknown at the time, Brady was forced to withdraw from the US Open, and an MRI revealed the severity of the situation later. She had planned to return in 2022, but further complications arose and caused her to withdraw from the tournament. A return in 2023 showed her tennis skills, but she was forced to sit out again.
