Ailing Chris Evert Engages in Hysterical Banter With Ex-Husband Andy Mill

Chris Evert is currently undergoing treatment for cancer recurrence. The 69-year-old American tennis legend had earlier revealed that she’ll have to undergo the third round of chemotherapy for her ovarian cancer. However, Evert and Mill were recently caught up while having a funny moment with each other.

Chris Evert and Andy Mill reflect their love for each other even after divorcing almost 18 years ago. Both of them tied the knot in 1988 and remained together until 2006. However, Mill and Evans have always remained close friends for years even after their separation.

A day back Evert wished Andy Mill on his 71st birthday. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to this guy… Lots of Love coming your way…” with a heart emoji and posted a picture of her with Mills on her Instagram account. The former alpine ski racer has been accompanying the 18-time Grand Slam champion during her chemotherapy sessions. Evert once wrote on X(formerly Twitter), “Happy you took me to my second chemo today #Andy; just like old times.

Now, seeing him back during her recent chemotherapy sessions fans couldn’t hold their emotions while Evert and Mill were seen making a joke with each other with a wig. Chris Evert recently posted a photo of her with her ex-husband, where Mill was seen wearing Evert’s wig. She wrote, “Andy Mill, give me my wig back….” Seeing this light moment between the two amid hardships made everyone admire their bond.

Evert calls her ex-husband as her ‘greatest friend’

Almost two years back Chris Evert penned down a heartfelt note while she was undergoing her treatment. She wrote, “Thank you to my incredible sister Clare, my ex-husband/greatest friend, Andy, and my three sons who have been by my side. Thank you to all who have lifted my spirits in the past year, allowed me to step into my resilience, and are watching my story today.

During her third round of chemotherapy, the tennis legend also didn’t forget to spread awareness among the masses regarding ovarian cancer. She wrote, “Onto my 3rd round of Chemo; halfway there – A reminder to get your checkups, know your family history, and be your own advocate with your health. Early detection is crucial! It doesn’t hurt to have a good support system like I do :).

Laughter is perhaps the best medicine for any disease. Fans were seen showering their love after seeing them together sharing the ‘funny yet so sweet’ moment.
