The American legend took to Instagram to share a series of stories where she can be seen wearing the costume of a minion to surprise her daughter. Sharing glimpses of the moment, Serena said, “Hey, so I’m in the bathroom in the movie theaters and Alexis has said that I should wear a costume for the movie, and sounded like a good idea three days ago and now I’m just like, what was I thinking?”

Subsequently, as Serena came running in front of Olympia with the minion costume on, Olympia laughed and said, “I see you, I see you!” Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, said, “It’s a minion.” However, Olympia played smart as she knew it was her mother. Olympia replied, “No. it’s mama. I knew it you were the minion.”

Serena set to lose her childhood home

Earlier this month, it came to light that the Williams sisters’ father, Richard Williams’ Florida mansion, is being put up for sale to pay off the debts of his estranged wife, Lakeisha Graham. The $1.4million house will be sold via an online auction later in August.
