Belarusian tennis beauty Aryna Sabalenka is turning heads with her performance at the Australian Open 2023. Although she isn’t able to represent Belarus in the tournament (she plays under a neutral flag), she is making steady progress in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. Having defeated her quarter-final opponent, Donna Vekic, she now proceeds to the semi-finals of the Grand Slam. Fans are cheering her on, but at the same time, questions about her personal life seem to hook them.
Sabalenka, who has a career-high ranking of world no.2, is just 24 years old. The tennis star claims that she does not believe in the idea of “marriage”. However, she did get engaged back in 2019. Sabalenka has always been very private about her love life and never confirmed any rumors. Until recently, the tennis world had no idea who her beau is.

Aryna Sabalenka feels like “Love is in the air”
Currently, she has been very open about her love life. She has posted several pictures with her boyfriend on her Instagram account. He happens to be none other than Konstantin Kolstov, the Belarusian Ice Hockey player.
Sabalenka and Konstantin were seen together in public for the first time in Paris after her defeat in the French Open 2021. The couple naturally shares their love for sports and are both star athletes in their fields. Recently, Sabalenka posted a picture with Konstantin on her Instagram account with the caption, “Love is in the air”.

Konstantin represented Belarus at the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics IIHF World Championships. He has also played for Belarus at nine world championships throughout his 18-year-long career, and played for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL for three seasons after being chosen by the franchise. He is retired as of November 2, 2016.
He was previously married and has three sons from the relationship.
Sabalenka’s previous love life
In an interview in 2019, Aryna Sabalenka revealed her relationship status. She said she was engaged to someone, although she did not reveal who it was. The only hint she was ready to leak was that the lucky guy was not from Belarus. It is at that moment that she talked about not wanting to get married, ever. However, she proudly showed off her engagement ring, to the delight of her fans.
This was not Aryna’s first relationship. In the same year, there were rumors about her dating Dmitry Tursunov, who was coaching her since early 2018. Although neither had confirmed the rumors, they hadn’t dismissed them either. In August 2019, the pair weren’t training anymore.
The same year, Aryna was also reported to be going out with Matvei Bozhko. Matvei is from Aryna’s hometown, Minsk.
