Paula Badosa is one of the rising stars on the women’s tour. A right-handed tennis player from Spain, she has been making quite a name for herself on the Tour recently. 

As we talk about Paula Badosa, let us take a closer look at the people who are closest to her. The Spaniard was born to Mireia Gibert and Josep Badosa. Both of them are involved in the fashion industry and have a brick-and-mortar clothing store in Begur, Girona.

Who are Paula Badosa’s parents?

The Spanish tennis player was born in Manhattan to mother, Mireira Gibert and father, Josep Badosa. However, she decided to pursue tennis after moving to Barcelona at the age of 7, along with her parents. Due to her parents’ involvement in the fashion world, Badosa thought of becoming a model. Badosa went to Valencia from 2011 to 2014 in order to improve her game. Knowing more about her, she is fluent in many languages. She knows to speak Spanish, Catalan, English and French.

With the amount of success earned by Badosa this year, her net worth has been on the rise. She is reportedly worth close to $5million. She has pocketed most of her income through tennis earnings. However, the details of her income are yet not out in the public. 

Coming on to tennis, Badosa won the French Open juniors in 2015. After that, she registered the biggest win of her career by winning the WTA Indian Wells 2021 title. This amazing result helped her crack into the top 10 rankings.
